Accelerator is a civilization strategy game. It does not require an account and has no advertising or custom analytics. Game progress is saved on your device. In the browser, it is stored in your browser’s local storage.
Jev strategy scores
Jev is optional. In the iPhone and iPad app, you can enter your own TypeSafe API key. It is stored in that device’s Keychain and is sent only to TypeSafe over HTTPS when you ask for a score or enable Auto mode. A manual score sends your selected in-game move and bounded simulation counters. Auto mode sends bounded game counters and the currently available in-game actions, then applies one selected action. These requests do not contain your name, contacts, or device files. As with any direct API connection, TypeSafe also receives network information such as your IP address. Its privacy policy describes the information it may collect and how it uses it. TypeSafe may charge for API usage.
Auto mode starts off. While enabled and the app is open, you can choose Careful (up to 12 requests per day), Steady (up to 60 per day), or Fast (up to 120 per day). It may apply one in-game action after each successful decision. You can turn it off at any time. It does not make real-world purchases or send messages.
On the hosted website, one optional Jev score costs $0.01 USDC on Base through x402. Your wallet asks you to approve each payment. The website sends only the selected in-game move and bounded simulation counters to the paid service; Bankr handles the payment and sends the scoring request to TypeSafe using a server-side key. The key is not included in the page or sent to your browser. The payment and wallet addresses are visible on Base, and Bankr may retain service request logs. The site does not store your Jev scores. Connecting through Base Account uses its wallet connection service; you may instead use an installed browser wallet or open the site in the Base app. No payment is signed by the Connect wallet button. The game and daily run work without a wallet or Jev.
Jev decision-turn packs
Turn-pack checkout is not currently open. When enabled, Stripe processes one-time pack payments. Accelerator verifies a completed receipt before adding turns to a server-held balance associated with your essential browser cookie. Keep that browser data; contact support to restore purchases on another device. Accelerator stores the payment session identifier, amount, turn credit, and time, but does not receive card details.
Managed Auto sends bounded simulation counters to TypeSafe and stores a request identifier, state hash, decision, and usage status to prevent duplicate charges. A completed decision uses one turn, including choosing to wait; failed decisions return the turn. Auto only makes in-game moves and pauses when you leave the page. Resetting the simulation or removing leaderboard scores does not erase purchased turns. Contact support about purchase restoration, refunds, or deletion of purchase and usage records.
Daily run and leaderboards
The optional browser daily run sends your chosen public builder name and six in-game moves to Accelerator's site backend. It assigns a random, essential browser cookie so you can resume your run and keep one best score per day. The backend calculates your score and stores your run, score, and dates. Today’s and seven-day leaderboards show your builder name and score to visitors; the seven-day board also shows how many days you played. Do not use your real name if you prefer to stay private.
Use “Remove my scores” on the game page to delete daily runs and scores associated with that browser cookie. Clearing browser data before using this control removes the cookie and may prevent the site from identifying your records; contact us at the address below if you need help. The basic simulation remains playable without the daily run.
Optional experiment summary
If you opt in under Simulation settings, the iPhone or iPad counts sessions, upgrades, research advances, and Jev feature use on your device. It also keeps broad progression bands. The app does not create an event timeline or include an account ID, API key, or Jev request in this summary. No experiment data is sent automatically. You may choose to share the aggregate summary through the device share sheet. Turning the option off deletes the saved summary; you can also clear it while keeping the option on.
Storage and deletion
Use “Reset simulation” in the app or “Restart simulation” in the browser to erase saved game progress. Removing the app or clearing this site’s browser data also removes local progress. Daily run scores are stored separately on the site backend; use “Remove my scores” to erase them. You can remove the TypeSafe key and clear the optional experiment summary separately in the app’s Simulation settings. Accelerator does not maintain a game account.
Website delivery
The website host may process ordinary connection information needed to deliver the page. The game itself does not add tracking scripts or sell game data. Optional Jev calls are handled by Bankr x402 Cloud and TypeSafe under their own service policies.
